Bottled at cask strength of 63% in 2015This unique 100% Pot Still rum is distilled in 2002 on the Wooden Single Pot Still from the firmer Versailles Sugar Estate.The Wooden Single Pot Still was first located at the Demerara River.Today the unique still is located at Demerara Distillers Diamond complex and is the only operational Wooden Single Pot Still in the world.This rare single marque run is aged in ex-bourbon barrels warehouse for more than 12 years.The bottling is done in Guyana at cask strength of 63% without chill filtering the product, this to further preserve the unique profile. In our core aged El Dorado range the VSG is an important blend element of the 12 Years Old.

Tasting Notes:

*  Attractive golden amber colour.
*  Very seductive aroma of sweet vanilla, honey and sugar caramel, with plenty of spices like cinnamon and liquorice.
*  In the mouth it is very warm and dry, deep but balanced with the sweet notes of dry apricots, vanilla and toffee, and nice notes of oak wood, dry fruits like almonds; medium body, with the alcohol well integrated and round and sweet finish.
*  Excellent rum with a seductive personality and ax original finish: fresh and sweet at the same time.
