The 1731 Barbados 8 Year Old is a Single Origin Rum that has been carefully selected for color, flavor and regional character of the island. This Single Origin Rum blends a range of Barbados rums, some distilled in a traditional Column Still and others in an authentic Pot Still. These exceptional local rums are then aged for a minimum of 8 years in oak barrels that previously contained bourbon to maximize natural flavor.

Colour: beautiful amber color. Nose: the nose is complex, spicy, notes of vanilla, caramel, cinnamon and smoked oak are perceived. Taste: in the mouth aromas of caramel, vanilla, dried apples and apricots, as well as notes of banana and smoked oak. Long and dry finish.

Cocktail suggestion :

60ml/2oz 1731 Belize 12yo Rum (gifted)

30ml/1oz Cucielo White Vermouth

2 bar spoons DOM Benedictine

1 dash Orange Bitters

Mist of Xenta Absinthe glass with Absinthe / Stir all other ingredients with ice / Strain in glass / Garnish.
