All is in the name: "Little Beauty". An elegant appearance from New Zealand, from a special small plot of vineyard - Single vineyard only 0.10% of the total production of the Marlborough area. Marlborough is one of the sunniest places in the world to grow grapes, a paradise for the Sauvignon Blanc vine. Little Beauty wines come from a single vineyard in the unique Waihopai Valley, in Marlborough, New Zealand, owned by the independent family company Vinultra led by the talented Evelyn Fraser, former Cloudy Bay winemaker.
The local climate is strongly influenced by the mighty Southern Alps, stopping the fierce sea winds. Characteristic of the area are hot days cooled at night by the ocean breeze.
The land is terraced, with stony, free-draining soils and exceptionally clean mountain water.
A sense of a vibrant, clean and aromatic place where the grapes produce intense flavors all day long.
The grapes are grown on two terraces and three different locations in one vineyard. The fruits are collected by machine, only in the cool of the night, then they are pitted and lightly pressed in a pneumatic press. The juice settles in the cold. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to bring out the varietal's natural aromas.
