After over a century of adapting to the vineyards of Trentino and its Dolomite landscape, this grape variety has become
Trentino’s Prince of White Grapes. This title is just right as the wine reveals its nobility, with delicacy and elegance
in the glass whilst boasting immediacy and expressiveness at the same time.
The grapes are strictly handpicked and delivered to the winery within a few hours. Here they are selected and then gently pressed using pneumatic presses. Then the must is cooled at 15°-16° C and left for an entire night to clarify. The next day the yeast is added and the alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature (16-18°C) starts. At the end of the fermentation the runoff takes place, and the wine is left on the lees, for about 4 – 6 months.
Maso di Mezzo Pinot Grigio is produced with grapes from the vineyards along the Adige and Noce rivers, where it finds its ideal habitat, thanks to the fertile soil.
Excellent with appetizers, vegetables, white meats, poultry and fish.
This wine is characterised by a graceful straw- yellow colour. The bouquet is pleasantly delicate and rich in fruity notes accompanied by floral hints of chamomile. In the mouth it is dry with an elegant refreshing acidity.
