The 1731 Single Origin Rum Belize 7 years old is a Belize rum from the Travellers distillery. Distillery bottled by the independent rum bottler 1731. In 1731 the British navy decided to provide a cup of rum to each sailor each and every day as a part of his wage. 1731 Rum is an ode to that. The rums under this label are not coloured nor is any sugar added and they have all fully aged in the climate of the distillery. This Belize rum was column distilled, matured in ex-bourbon barrels and was bottled at 46% ABV.                                              

The 1731 Belize 7 Year Old is a Single Origin Rum that has been carefully selected for colour, flavour and regional character of the country of origin. Aged for a minimum of 7 years in oak barrels that previously contained bourbon, these traditional Column Still rums reflect the authentic flavours of Belize.

Colour: Amber
 Nose: Notes of vanilla, toffee and soft spices, such as cinnamon and nutmeg.
 Palate: Sweet toffee, caramel, vanilla and spices.
 Finish: Medium long, sweet and spicy finish.
