Each bottling offers a distinctive character that speaks volumes about its origin. The bottling is always in natural color, not chill-filtered and without sugar.

Тhis Dominican Republic Rum is distilled from freshly pressed sugar cane juice in column stills at the Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos distillery and then matured for 5 years in bourbon barrels. Non-Chill Filteres, the 1731 range of RUm bottlings do not contain any color, sugar or other additives.  Color: Saffron Nose: Intense fruits, spices, vanilla pinepapple and cinnamon Palate: Silky, soft oak notes and sweet vanilla Finish: Long

The company 1731 Fine & Rare originates from the Netherlands. The name of the independent bottler is based on the year in which the British Royal Navy began offering its sailors half a pint of rum as part of their wages.
