Six generations! Only one last name! Glenfarclas belongs to Scotland and is hidden in the heart of the Speyside region. Founded in 1836, it continues to be an independent Scottish distillery to this day! This is the first 1st fill Sherry Hogshead cask entirely for Optimist1 for the Whiskey, Rum & Wine Master test 2022 festival, only 312 bottles! This cask #3004, for 13 years of aging, has given so much of itself to the Farclas spirit, which in itself is also excellent, and the result is incredible. For its age, at a degree of 58.5%, it surpasses achievements of a similar caliber by two and more, ..but that's our opinion. Yes, it really is, or so we boldly claim. This typical Glenfarclas sherry style is recognizable and somewhat inimitable.

NOSE: Pleasant sweetness with hints of maple, dried cherries, plums. Juicy Baked Almond Cupcake. Oak notes with vanilla and toffee, and lots of dates and figs.

TASTE: Spicy sweetness, sage, fresh walnut, nutmeg and crushed cinnamon. With a slight addition of wat

er, it develops incredibly into vanilla, fresh fruits - peaches, pears, dried fruits - apricots, lychees. Dark chocolate and leather creep into the creamy texture. FINISH: Medium length, butterscotch, tobacco and fruit extravaganza.
